Busy busy night and day!

I had to go to a wedding reception today and last night we had a sleep over with 2 nephews and a niece so not much sleep today either; but both events were a lot of fun! Maybe if there is time I can work more on the puppets!

Mouthy! Lol

I took all the puppets mouths so they can't talk about me why I'm not in the shop! Hahaha!!! Actually; I'm getting ready to paint all four of the mouths from the red villain, blue super hero, Sammy, and the gypsy!

Sanding and more sanding

I was under the weather yesterday so I didn't get to work on the puppets until today; I started sanding another blue super hero and a red villain! It's moving right along but I'm hoping they are both completed by July 1st but that might be wishful thinking! It's like mike brose said in his book that just when you think your done sand some more! He was so right!

The Red Villain!

Vacation is over so I came home really late yesterday so I slept in today the started magic sculpting the red villains head, mouth and back crown(trap door)! I just took him out of the mother mold and here he is! Still have lots to do on him though! I think he will be done by Friday!

Ready to magic sculpt

I finally got the mother mold done on the Red Villain! Now when I get back from vacation on the 24th I can use the magic sculpt and make the actual puppet! I'm excited about that! Hope you guys like him when he's done! Also if you have a different name I should use other than the Red Villain please let me know!

Mother mold

I woke up today and decided that since its just going to be cloudy that I'm going to go ahead and do the mother mold on the red villain! It has to get done before I go off on vacation so today is the day! Of course I won't get to stuff the head with magic sculpt until I get back on the 24th. This is the left side done and drying, now the other side and the back!

Since I'm getting ready to go on vacation I'm not really starting any new products until I get back and it's going to rain today so I'm not going to do the mother mold because of the fumes I have to do it outside. I'm loafing around in the house bored so I thought I would share a picture of my finished products that's in stock! When I get back from vacation I'm going to list these 3 together for $700 plus shipping! That equals out to $250 each for 2 and $200 for a last one! It's a great investment either for someone to resell or for their collection! I have seen a lot of puppets sell for more than that and you get 3 for that price!

Slappy is done!

I finally got slappy jr done and I am taking a picture with him! He has his new set of eyes! Please let me know what you think of him!

The air show!

Today I took my dad, brother, wife, and nephew to the air show! It was very loud but fun!

I have been working on the rubber latex part of the mold and also painting eyes!

The brainy red villain!

I thought since I haven't wrote in a couple days I would show everyone what's been keeping me busy! I have the brainy red villain sculpted and started on the rubber latex part of the molding process! When its time and I put in the magic sculpt there will be a brain on top his head even though you can't tell what it is right now!

The top of the head for the super villain!

I made the head for the super villain and I just did not like it so I sat up until 5 am working on it and now I like it! More realistic looking now! I'm working on penny wise the clown puppet but I'm not too sure he is turning out the way I planned. Kind of sad about that but I'm not giving up! I will keep trying for a couple of days until I just know its not going to happen; but so far that hasn't happened! When I set my mind to it I normally get it to the shape and puppet I was looking for. I got to stop for the day though because I have to go to my aunts funeral (family night, the actual funeral is tomorrow). May she rest peaceful in the eyes of god now and is out of pain and can breath.

I've considered having a sale a putting Slappy, Freddy, and the old bald guy up on sale in eBay for $700!!! What a deal! I'm trying to get rid of a lot of the stuff in stock before I go on vacation, this way I can start a new when I get back! Let me know what you think!

On the sabeth day he rested!

I figure that since it was Sunday I'm not doing anything at all today! I did go to church this morning then out to eat with my beautiful wife. I will start more on the puppets tomorrow morning on the sculpting !

Busy day!

Today I worked on making a mold for a puppets mouth that i should have done a long time ago, sculpted the 2 new puppets, talked to a guy about switching cable companies, and here in a little bit I'm going to hang out with some friends for awhile. In two weeks (June 14th) I'm heading to Florida on vacation so I won't be working on the puppets for 10 days until I get back. I do plan on getting the new ones mother molded so when I get back I just grab the magic sculpt and start making the new ones! The two new ones are going to be The Brainy Red Villain so there is a nemesis for the Blue Super Hero, and Penny Wise the Clown from the movie "It"! I'm trying to make a happy puppet and one from a horror movie every time! If you have something you would like to see me try and make just let me know! I'm always up for a challenge!
