Another update on Ezmerelda!

I got the body cut and most the way put together, now I have to cut the hole in the top for the head to sit down into! Also I got the wig in the mail today! I will post pictures of her with her wig later on when I go get the wig to make sure it fits!

New puppets!

As everyone knows; I'm doing an inventory clear out sale with the puppets I have built so I can get some new puppets made and on eBay! Here is one of the puppets! He's a cyclops that I have no name for so I'm just calling cyclops or I'm thinking Clyde the clops! He's definitely a work in progress! I still have to sculpt some wrinkles in his forehead and some wrinkles on each side of his eye (crows feet) and some wrinkles on each side of his mouth! I'll majorly start working on this project after I complete Esmerelda and have her in the mail to her new owner!

More progress

The top picture shows where I have the eyebrows ready to put on and where I have the holes for the iris's after the eye balls are painted! The mouth stays open because the spring is not in to pull it shut! After supper I will build the body and put the cotton padding on it and the cloth then start with making the hands from a mold I made which I can start the sanding on them before work tomorrow. I'm looking to get the wig in the mail this week and her clothes made so she will be done this week and mailed to her new owner if all goes well! The bottom picture shows the inner mechanics that's loosely sat in there until it gets magic sculpt tonight to hold it all together then connected to the hand stick (which I still need to cut out and magic sculpt to the head before connecting it all!

Esmerelda

Just keeping you updated on the progress of the Esmerelda puppet! I wasn't able to work on her yesterday because my aunt had surgery over an hour and a half for breast cancer to have it removed yesterday and so far it's going well. Today I worked on Esmerelda and have her eyes cut, the platform board cut and eyes on it; the mouth is magic sculpted in and I'm getting ready to start on the eyebrows that the buyer wanted on her! After that I have another quick sanding then to the painting table for her as the eyebrows made of magic sculpt dries! After the first paint job I will start her wooden body! A lot of progress done today!!! Of course I still have to cut out the holes for the Iris and the spring to make them self centering then I'm done for the day!

Reminder!

I am having an inventory close out sale and all the puppets are $250 plus shipping on eBay right now! Once they are gone I probably won't repost any of them for awhile because I'm making new puppets to post on eBay! Get them while they last because after this month you probably won't see them again until maybe next year or later!

A puppet gone!

One puppet down and sold, now six to go! Yesterday Esmerelda the gypsy puppet sold! Thank you to the buyer of her!!! I'm in the process of fitting her eyes, making the raising eyebrows, and fitting her mouth! She won't take long but I will keep you posted on her progress! Also I got a request to make a zombie puppet! I have been waiting for a request like this; I'm very excited about it! I will keep everyone posted when I start it and the progress as I go along on it as well!

Inventory clear out sale!

I'm wanting to make a brand new line of puppets so next month I'm thinking of going to an all new lower price of $250 on the puppets to sell all the ones I already have made! I only have six puppets completed which are; slappy, Freddy, old man, red villain, blue super hero, and Sammy 2nd edition! It's a good steal for the collector, performer, or just to resell at a higher price! I'm waiting til all these sell before making different ones!
